I accidentally stumbled upon this cutest of cute shops last Saturday during a no-wedding weekend when I just needed to get out of the house and get a change of pace. I first visited the Japanese Tea Gardens, and when I was stopping by MILA coffee on my way home I had to check out the cute little Airsteam with the "La Casa Frida" sign.
It was a world of it's own. Not only are all the products made by artisans in Mexico, but they also have such a wide variety of products in the shop, and a small dressing room in the back! Gaby, one of the owners, was so friendly and fun to talk to - it's clear she loves what she is doing. Hopefully I'll be back soon and I'll be able to meet Ruby - the other owner! Both women are artists themselves, and are from Mexico. If you're in San Antonio, they're located at 2202 Broadway and you must stop by. If you're not in San Antonio, my deepest condolences. The good news, you can always visit their online shop, and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
With Fiesta right around the corner, I am already planning my next trip back here because I need to see what new colorful products they bring in! Their trailer is so cute that I really want to do some sort of look-book shoot with them - hopefully I'll have an excuse to make a second 'Inspiration Finds' post with images of models in their clothes and jewelry!!!
There are a few other shops in this area, at 2202 Broadway, but I can't decide which one to share next week, honestly the whole area is gorgeous and a true gem in the heart of San Antonio. It's worth visiting just to see.
