Last weekend I had my heart stolen again. And again. And again. And I was reminded that the sun in San Antonio can be particularly brutal when I forget to wear sunscreen. Like I do EVERY year at the beginning of summer. My heart was stolen specifically by Goober, the pit in the photo above, but by the rest of the dogs that A Doggie 4 You was trying to find homes for.
We were set up in Leon Springs and I got to spend 6 hours photographing these babies, playing with them, and photographing the adopted dogs with their new families! If you're looking for your newest family member please remember to Adopt, Don't Shop! A Doggie 4 You rescues these dogs from everywhere, including kill shelters, and rehabilitates the dogs, micro-chipping them, and getting them all the medical attention they might need before they're ready for adopting. They post their upcoming adoption events on Facebook so make sure you like their page!
If you would like to volunteer with A Doggie 4 You you can reach out to Pat through their Facebook page, and they always need donations. You can give a one-time donation, or sign up for monthly donations, through Give Gab. Please help these adorable, super sweet babies find homes and get a second chance at life!
