May in San Antonio, in all of Texas, really, can be a surprising month with weather. It's one of my busiest months for wedding photography, so I'm prepped with extra layers for some days and extra water for others. Theresa and Blair's wedding day ended up being one of the hottest in the month of May, but not even that Texas heat could distract one from the romance in the air.
Blair was a touch nervous, but mostly excited, as he joked around with his groomsmen while getting ready for this wedding day. Meanwhile, Theresa was downstairs in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids, focused on looking her best for her wedding day. Guests started to file into the seats at the ceremony area and the wedding was ready to begin! Theresa, Blair and their friends and family were all smiles and laughs through the ceremony. Even that persistent Texas heat couldn't distract from the electric atmosphere as this sweet couple made their vows to one another, and slipped on each other's wedding band.
We created a few portraits before the indoor, blissfully air conditioned, wedding reception started in the beautiful decorated lodge. Following dinner and the bride and groom's first dance, the dance floor was opened up to all the guests and was the party continued well into the night. Congratulations to Theresa and Blair; may you have many happy, happy years ahead of you!
This wedding was hosted at The Hidden Falls, with Rosemary's Catering providing the delicious meal. Jesse Vallado kept the dance floor packed The gorgeous flowers were arranged by Brenda Fry of San Antonio and Theresa's dream dress was found at Weddings by Debbie in Katy, TX.
