Christina and Josh started their wedding with a beautiful ceremony at the Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University, a Catholic university in San Antonio. As Christina was on her way over to the chapel, Josh and his groom's men were finishing up with their final touches, getting their boutonniere's and ties on. All the guests had taken their seats, and with Josh up at the alter waiting on his bride the doors opened and the bridal party began their walk up to the front. I swear, not a single person was breathing as we waiting for the last and most important, two people to walk up the aisle, Christina and her father. Such a graceful and beautiful bride, Christina gave her father a kiss on the cheek as he gave her away to Josh, and the ceremony was underway.
Truly, my favorite part of Christina and Josh's wedding ceremony was through the traditional Catholic ceremony Christina kept looking over at her family with the biggest smile on her face. In these moments, Josh would often watching Christina with so much love in his eyes.
After their ceremony we took formal portraits of the family and bridal party, we headed over to The Veranda on the north side of San Antonio for the wedding reception. Christina had the venue decorated in beautiful blues and oranges, and a few pumpkins added to the autumn atmosphere.
Right before dinner and heart warming toasts, the bride and groom had their first dance. Then Christina had a fun and unique dance with her father, followed by Josh's dance with his mother, and then step-mother. After the formal dances, the guests, bride and groom, and entire bridal party danced the night away thanks to Power Sounds.
