From Behind the Lens: Goodbye, 2014! Welcome, 2015!

As we ring in the New Year tonight, I've been reflecting a lot of my work as an artist over the 2014 year. This has been an amazing year for me, I can't even wait to see what 2015 has in store! Here are a few of my favorite (mostly) non-wedding moments from this past year!

January - Shot Saterra and Michael at a shootout. I've had the pleasure of working with them many times since then!

February - Two of my close friends tied the knot! I was technically a guest ... so this counts as non-wedding!

July - This wedding still sticks out in my mind as one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. If you're a San Antonio bride, you MUST check out the Southwest School of Art as a venue! The lighting was perfect!

August - The Wicked Queen! A crazy fun Snow White themed photoshoot with Andrea Gutierrez, hair by Kelley Alba and makeup by Kassy Holly.

September - It seemed like the year of the moon, to me! Lunar eclipses, super moons, harvest moons, etc.

October - In Aransas Pass for the weekend to shoot a wedding, I was able to squeeze in some fun sunrise beach shots with a friend! This technique is called panning, keeping the camera trained on the subject while they're moving.

November - Autumn. In Texas, that lands in November. You can't have autumn without apples, or delicious apple pie. It's a law somewhere.

December - Finally got to shoot FiFi! This girl is amazing, braved the 40 degree weather (hey, we're Texans. That's cold to us) and rocked out the photoshoot! You will be seeing a lot more of her
